As any Austinite knows, South by Southwest ended as of yesterday, Sunday March 20th, 2011. The SXSW media conference, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, showcases some of today’s hottest technologies, in addition to celebrating ground-breaking film and music. Throughout the entire week of South-by, music can be heard emanating from nearly every venue in downtown Austin, drawing Austinites and people from around the world to the exciting and lively scene.
Knowing what a blast SXSW is, all of us here at Fun Fun Foto Booths definitely didn’t want to miss out on our chance to join in. On Wednesday, 3/16/11, we were asked to set up our booth at Stompin’ Grounds coffee and cocktail lounge. Getting to listen to awesome music on SoCo (South Congress for all you non-natives ;P) and having fun snapping pictures at the same time?! Of course we said yes. The music that evening rocked, and featured a local Austin band, Panacea. Cool music, great drinks, and our Fun Fun Foto Booth made it a fantastic time for all who came out.
